Britain International Academy hosted its first ever Ghabga here in Salmiya, Kuwait during the holy month of Ramadan. At the behest of their CEO Dr Abdul Aziz – Ali- Fahad – Al- Duwailah, the Directors and staff members of BIA organised this event. The staff being multi cultured and comprising of different nationalities took it up as a new learning experience. Dr Abdul Aziz was pleased with the arrangements. In his small talk he explained what the tradition of Ghabga is and appreciated the effort put in by the staff members. He also encouraged them to have more of these cultural exchanges to help understand Kuwaiti traditions better.
The event was graced by teaching and non-teaching staff members and their families. Principals, teachers and co-ordinators from local community schools also participated with their families and friends. The function comprised of the small talk by Dr Abdul Aziz followed by an Audio Visual presentation by Mr Atif Sohail introducing BIA and its services. Later there was lucky draw and quiz competition for all participants and the winners were gifted prizes.All the guest then relished onthe sumptuous Arabic dinner followed by casual chitchat, stories and jokes. Mr Atif and Mr Jatinder thanked all the guests for attending the event.
